The SE400 is an engine driven log splitter powered by a Honda GX200 engine fitted with a dual speed hydraulic pump.
When combined with the unique axe-head it allows a 10 tonne capacity ram to be fitted which makes the splitting operation very quick. Capable of splitting logs up to 18 inch high and is not limited to the width of logs it can split
Our 10 Ton SE400 vertical petrol log splitter is one of the most powerful petrol models on the market. Powered by a 6.5HP Honda GX200 engine, it offers a huge 10 ton splitting force, splitting pretty much everything you can lift to the table.
This British built log splitter operates on maximum revs at all times, giving optimum power. It is a real workhorse, a fantastic timesaver and is ideal for a variety of uses – be that professional, home/domestic use, or for those with a smallholding. It turns log splitting from a dangerous chore into safe, easy fun.
The SE comes fitted with two-handed control levers for safe operation, and wheels for easy manoeuvrability of the machine. Our range of electric log splitters are fantastic for use around the home or with a generator. However, this petrol operated machine is not restricted by cables, meaning you can transport it to your wood/woodpile/field and split on location.
Our petrol log splitters are durable machines, which are supplied with a full UK warranty and spares backup service.
All our logsplitters come PDI’d and fully assembled. As soon as you get your delivery, the wood splitting fun can begin. Unfortunately, due to courier restrictions we cannot supply hydraulic oil in the machines.
The SE400 is easily manoeuvred on pneumatic tyres which means the log splitter can be used in any different number of locations from the back garden, paddock or even woodland

9 reviews for SE400 Log Splitter
Michael Chapman –
I have just purchased the SE400 and what a great piece of equipment. I split enough wood for my log burner for a year, in about 5 hours. This is many times faster than I have been able to do in the past. This machine is amazing. My old electric splitter is hopeless in comparison.
Dom Marle –
SE400 is the best mobile splitter I’ve used. Oxdale Products also make the machine with the wheels on the inside, for narrow access. Fast cycle & great working height for me at 6ft 1inch tall.
Russell Gooding –
Hired one recently and it was a very efficient way of splitting up a lot of twisted grain logs. You can certainly make decent money with this machine
Nick Taylor –
Great machine most reliable
Steve Swift –
I run one, good little machine. Bought it new about 10 years ago, hasn’t caused me any major issues. Splits 500 plus loads a year.
Jason Brown –
Had one of these for 3 years from Oxdale Products highly recommended Chris Butcher
David Clarke –
I have had one for 7 years it’s a grand little machine
Aaron Spud Tatam –
I have a petrol one, well worth the money.
Nick Green –
A Great machine, I have just split all the wood I will need for the coming winter. We filled 5.5 crates of 1 yard cubed. This only took about 3 hours. I’ve had the machine around 4 years, without any problems. I start the machine once a week just to keep it in good shape.
